Mocanal Parcela Chajunco
Albillo, Vijariego Blanco and Listán Blanco
Wine made from grapes grown in the Chajunco plot, at 1,111 m above sea level, in the municipality of Artenara. Staked bush vines with a south-west exposure. Whole-bunch pressed to obtain a high-quality must, avoiding excessive pressure that could extract unwanted compounds. Spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in stainless steel tanks, keeping a clean and precise profile. No lees work is carried out, thus preserving the wine’s most direct expression. Winemaker: Carmelo Peña
